The U.S. Figure Skating National Synchronized Skating Summit is an interactive camp being held July 19-21, 2019, geared toward both coaches and their skaters. This camp will be held at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville, Illinois.

Sessions will be split by team and level and will consist of 16-22 skaters. On-ice time will consist of 8 hours and will include instruction with Team USA coaches and officials. Skaters will also have the unique opportunity to do on and off ice skills sessions with high level coaches from outside of the synchronized skating discipline.

We will also have a Collegiate Fair at the Summit on Saturday evening. All of the colleges and universities with synchronized skating teams are welcome to have a table and skaters can pick up information, talk to coaches, etc.

Coaches attending the Synchro Summit will have the opportunity to observe skaters from the level teams they work with, on the ice with Team USA coaches. Coaches will attend presentations that include, but not limited to, U.S. Figure Skating and ISU rule changes, recruiting and retaining skaters, and choreographing for synchronized skating. They will also participate in discussions led by Team USA coaches, have roundtable discussions geared towards administrative and off-ice challenges being faced in the synchro discipline and network with other coaches.

This new format allows skaters, coaches, Team USA coaches and officials to collaborate while learning and implementing the rules for the upcoming season.
