2014 U.S. FIGURE SKATING ANNUAL APPEAL

Dear Friend,

We cannot believe it’s been nine months since we shared the Olympic stage with our American teammates in Sochi. The opportunities we have had and memories we have made in that time have been life-changing, and have all been possible thanks to our accomplishments on the ice.

As we reflect on the last 17 years, especially this past one, we are so incredibly humbled by and grateful for your support. Our careers hit a high as we stood atop the podium in Sochi this past February. This accomplishment is made even more special as we celebrate our achievements with you, our fans and supporters.

Each year, generous gifts, from people like you, to U.S. Figure Skating help make moments like the ones we experienced at the Olympics possible. Your financial contributions are critical to supporting the journey of so many skaters, from the very first steps that are taken on the ice to the precious moments just before a member of Team USA competes at the Olympic Games.

A gift to U.S. Figure Skating, whether big or small, will help build programs that will support and develop young athletes across the country. Through hard work, determination, a little bit of luck and your support, some of these young skaters might have the honor of becoming Olympians one day.

Whether you chose to support a specific program or designate your gift to the area of greatest need, please know you are making a difference. Somewhere out there, a young skater dreams of becoming the next Olympic champion, and if that dream comes true, you can share that moment knowing you were a part of the team.

Please take a moment to consider making a gift to U.S. Figure Skating today. As the start of a new quadrennium is upon us, each and every gift is magnified as new goals are set, dreams begin to shape into reality and our focus turns to the Olympic Winter Games of 2018.

Thank you for all of your support. Go Team USA!

Regards,
