Vote for the 2007 Readers’ Choice Eligible Skater(s) of the Year Award (Michelle Kwan Trophy)
	It’s that time of year again — time to let the world know which skater(s) you think had the best year on the ice during the 2006-2007 competitive season. This year, the voting for the Readers’ Choice Award will be conducted exclusively via U.S. Figure Skating Online. Eligible skaters include: Top five senior skaters in each discipline at the 2007 State Farm U.S. Championships Top five senior teams at the 2007 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships Medalists at the 2007 World Championships Medalists at the 2007 World Junior Championships Medalists at the 2007 World Challenge Cup for Juniors Medalists at the 2007 World Synchronized Skating Championships
The winner will be announced in the August/September issue of SKATING and on the web site. The trophy will be presented to the winner(s) next fall. Kimmie Meissner won the 2006 award. Reminder: Michelle Kwan is no longer eligible for the award, since the trophy now bears her name. Kwan, the only multiple winner of the award, received the honor two years ago during a Governing Council presentation honoring a "decade of brilliance." The voting is open to all figure skating fans. Only one vote per person, please, and athletes eligible for the award may not vote for themselves. Voting will close on July 10, 2007.
