BASIC SKILLS SYNCHRONIZED SKATING PROGRAM

Synchronized Skating has partnered with the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program to expand the Basic Skills Synchronized Skating competitive level. Basic Skills Synchro teams may compete at synchronized skating nonqualifying competitions, as well as Basic Skills competitions.

Basic Skills Synchronized Skating Team Requirements

Basic Skills Level 1 - 8-16 skaters, majority under 9 years old, 1:30-2:00 +/- 10 seconds

Basic Skills Level 2 - 8-16 skaters, majority under 12 years old, 1:30-2:00 +/- 10 seconds

Basic Skills Level 3 - 8-16 skaters, majority at least 12 years old, 2:00-2:30 +/- 10 seconds

As of the competition entry deadline, skaters may not have passed any test higher than preliminary and majority must be "no test".
