Schools and Training

Continuing Education Schools

U.S. Figure Skating is offering Technical Panel Continuing Education Schools at designated nonqualifying competitions throughout the summer. These schools will provide continuing education for current technical controllers and technical specialists as well as initial education for potential technical controllers and technical specialists.


National Technical Panel Seminars

U.S. Figure Skating does not have any more National Technical Panel Seminars scheduled for 2010. We hope to announce the schedule for the 2011 National Technical Panel Seminars before the end of December. Please check back later for more information.

Advancement Guidelines and Procedures

The following guidelines and procedures provide information on the requirements technical panel officials must meet to receive an initial appointment and subsequent promotions. Those who already hold a technical panel appointment and are seeking advancement to a regional, sectional or national appointment must apply using the application for advancement provided below. These guidelines were developed by the Technical Panel Committee.
Recent Appointments/Promotions and Resignations

The 2010-11 U.S. Figure Skating Directory, which lists all officials' names, appointment types, appointment levels and contact information, can be found on the Members Only site in the green Member box on the left side of the page. Any appointments and resignations that have been processed since the directory was printed are also included in the same section of the Members Only site and will be updated at the end of each month.
